I Am By Charmaine A. Stewart

I Am

I am a hyper and amazingly lazy person
I wonder what tomorrow will bring
I hear my favorite song on the radio
I see me lying in the warm sun
I want it to be summer
I am a hyper and amazingly lazy person

I pretend everything will be okay
I feel lost
I touch the beautiful night sky
I worry I will never be happy
I cry only when I need to
I am a hyper and amazingly lazy person

I understand that I need to be patient
I say you should always be yourself
I dream of owning my own clothing line
I try to do better than an average person
I hope one day all my work will pay off
I am a hyper and amazingly lazy person

I am the kind of girl that goes with the flow and loves the color green
I wonder what it would be like to be able to sit on a cloud and not fall through
I hear music playing
I see blue bubbles that never pop, floating around in the air.
I want clear blue skies and sunshine.
I am the kind of girl that goes with the flow and loves the color green.

I pretend my pinky promises will never be broken.
I feel like I’m going to fall apart.
I touch the broken shards of frozen ice that comes from the river.
I worry about my family and friends.
I cry whenever I watch that sad movie.
I am the kind of girl that goes with the flow and loves the color green.

I understand that life has its ups and downs.
I say I will smile, and keep my chin up.
I dream to go to many places and meet many people.
I try to get through the days to see what tomorrow will bring.
I hope that one day everything will be better.
I am the kind of girl that goes with the flow and loves the color green.

I am a bored guy that doesn’t like writing.
I wonder how many people in this room don’t like writing.
I hear my teacher telling me to write.
I see a monkey that eats my writing paper.
I want the monkey to attack the teacher.
I am a bored guy that doesn’t like writing.

I pretend that I like school.
I feel board when I am at school.
I touch a big writing assignment.
I worry that I’m going to fail the assignment.
I cry because I have just failed the writing assignment.
I am a bored guy that doesn’t like writing.

I understand that I will be forced to write.
I say that writing shouldn’t be aloud at school.
I dream that writing is no longer given in schools.
I try to do my best in school though.
I am a bored guy that doesn’t like writing.

AA Meet (Athletics and Academics Meet)

The school
My name is Blaise and I'm in 10th grade, and Dolly and I'm in junior high.

All high school and junior high went to an AA meet for a science fair, and NYO which means Native Youth Olympics the events are the 1 foot high kick, 2 foot high kick, seal hop, Eskimo stick pull, Indian stick pull, toe kick, leg wrestle, one arm reach, .  We learned lots of other things like animation, photo shop, game designing, archery, pellet rifle, and learned how to be a leader and team work.
We were there for a week.  There was prom for high school which was a frosted fairy tale theme, a lot of people dressed up, and a dance for junior high.  For the science fair, we made a home made hovercraft.  It took us about 2 days to build it.  We looked up on YouTube to see some steps on how to build it.  We used: Particle wood for the platform and made it circle, because that's the only way it would be able to work, no other shape would work,  plastic tarp for the skirt, a leaf blower, skill saw, screwdriver, air pressurized staple gun, and a coffee can lid to make the bottom skirt donut shaped.
About 120 students were at the AA meet.  We were put in color coated groups, there was the pink group, yellow group, purple group, blue group, green group, orange groups and so on.
The AA meet was really fun and we hope next years AA meet wold be more fun :)
